The world of Karen Walker

"A is the lightest, I think of it as being sparkly, a little bit gin and tonicky. It’s got notes of crushed mint and it’s very sparkly.B is much more floral, it’s really about that evening kind of floral scent. Lush is the word I was looking for. Ripe and delicious, not in a sweet way, but ...C is much more addictive and sexy, it’s opulent, quite generous in what it gives you. C has got a lot of my favourite flowers, it’s got tuberose, lily of the valley, gardenia and magnolia ... it’s all really packed in there." - Karen Walker

Karen Walker is a world wide brand. Commonly known for her sunglasses but also, fashion lines of clothes, bags and shoes, Karen Walker bought out a fragrance line this April (2015).

The fragrance lines concept is ABC - Anything is possible. She used child building blocks as influence for the design of the packaging and bottles. The whole concept appears fun and colourful with patterns and block colours - Blow up toys are apart of the launch, large A, B, and C's are given to a customer when purchasing one of the three fragrances, encouraging self advertisement when walking around with these unique and in your face letters but also combining the online side of society to the product. Also smaller blow ups criters (bear, giraffe and bunny).

By having three separate scents to incorporate into my ideas of the space,  theres options to create three different areas for each or to really try sell and present them as a whole/set. As the product already has a identifiable brand and appearance to it (childrens building blocks, colours and toys) I want to work with these elements to really make the space work with the pre existing product and to make the space flow with the concept of the scents.
